Having a day off is seriously the best thing to happen since sliced bread, so obviously we head to brunch. First we get trendy, then we get tipsy ;)

1/2 lb on thick cut bacon... no turkey bacon doesn't work

Lots of brown sugar

A dash of cayenne pepper (or more depending on your love of spicy-ness)

Lay out 5 pieces of bacon on a cookie sheet, cover in brown sugar and cayenne pepper to taste. Put in oven until golden brown, usually about 15 minutes.
