Cinnamon Apple Sangria

Cinnamon Apple Sangria

I think I could actually make this one myself...

  • 2 Apples chopped into 1/4-1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 Pears, Chopped into 1/4-1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 Bottle Cinnamon Whiskey (Fireball)
  • 1 Bottle Pino Grigio (you can substitute with red wine)
  • 1/2 Gallon Apple Cider
  • Caramel Syrup & Cinnamon (to dip your glass rim in)
  1. Chop the apples and the pears and then add to a large punch bowl
  2. Pour the cinnamon whiskey, all of it, over the apple and pear pieces. Cover the bowl and let the boozy fruit sit for two hours.
  3. Pour the entire bottle of wine and apple cider into the fruit and whiskey mixture. Then chill until desired temperature... or add ice.
  4. Dip your glasses into the caramel sauce then sprinkle cinnamon on the edges.
As I sit here at our Trendy & Tipsy store in Pacific Beach San Diego, its hard to imagine that somewhere in the country it is cold. The sun is shining bright and the sky is so blue. Sometimes I miss the change in seasons, the coats and scarves and gloves. But then I remember that I lived in the freezing cold in Prague last semester and I was complaining about never seeing the sun...
So here's my conclusion, be happy with your present. Because they always tell you the grass is greener on the other side, but in my experience, it yellows pretty fast.

Anyways, I wonder if I can make this into a dessert... stay tuned for pumpkin spiced bananas foster with a kick, omg wow that sounds so exciting.

 hehe happy Tuesday babes
xoxo
